Have Some Folk Music. And Cake Too

Project Jam SandwichOn Saturday 18th October five award-winning Royal Northern College of Music students appear at All Saints Church, Burton in Lonsdale. Together they make up Project Jam Sandwich, an exciting folk music band.

Their music is influenced by countries as diverse as Bulgaria, Scotland and South Africa, mixing improvisation, scorching rhythms and beautiful melodies.  They have performed at Glasgow's Celtic Connections Festival, on Radio 3's In Tune and are now recording their first CD.

All concerts are free, no ticket required. Donations welcome

The format is an hour of music followed by delicious home made cakes and fresh coffee & tea when the musicians who will be happy to chat about the concert and what they do.
