The Very First Wardle Folk Festival!

Wardle Folk FestivalThe very first Wardle Folk Festival, with an emphasis on youth music, takes place on Sat 11th October 2014 at Wardle Academy, Birch Road, Rochdale, OL12 9RD.

The festival kicks off at 12:30pm with various workshops including:
Fiddle tunes with Emma Sweeney, Whistle & Flute tunes with Nicola Beazley,
Accompanying Tunes on Guitar with Paul Cowham and Clog Dancing with Helen Chicot.

Live music starts at 3:30pm, with Emma Sweeney, Speldosa & Ceol Tire amongst others.

The night before, Friday 10th October, there's a ceilidh with Nicola Beazley & Alex Cumming at Littleborough Conservative Club.
