Llanwddyn Weekend of Folk and Acoustic Music

LLanwddynLlanwddyn Weekend of Folk and Acoustic Music takes place over the weekend of 5th and 6th September 2014.

There is a ceilidh and hog roast on the Friday night, Saturday afternoon and evening concerts, and on Sunday morning, a sing around in the old chapel at St Wddyns.

The guest line up is: Elbow Jayne, Nacy Kerr and James Fagan, Ruth and Ken Powell, Les Barker, The House Devils, Robert Brown, Barlow Cree and last but not least The Llansilin Choir.

There is basic Camping at 2.00 a night per person, a bar serving real ale and BBQ food and other cafe refreshments.

The event receives no funding and is totally reliant on ticket sales.  It is also non profit making with any surplus being put back into the community for hall repairs and upkeep of the public amenities.

Llanwddyn Weekend of Folk and Acoustic Music is at Llanwddyn Village Hall, Llanwddyn, Lake Vyrnwy, Powys, SY10 0LB, about half an hour from Oswestry.
