Flossie Malavialle makes a welcome return to Sale Folk Club this Saturday.
Originally from the South of France, Malavialle settled in Darlington after teaching in the area for a year, returning home and then deciding that she preferred life on this side of the Channel.
Since then she has produced ten albums and has a varied contemporary repertoire that features songs from Allan Taylor, Kieran Halpin and Colum Sands amongst others, as well as seasoned favourites from the likes of Edith Piaf and Jacque Brel.
Shes not averse to belting out the odd number too such as Bonnie Raitt''s Road''s my middle name and a Joplin-esque take on Me and Bobby McGee.
Flossie Malavialle appears at Sale Folk Club on Saturday 14th April at 8 pm with support. Tickets are priced at £9 and can be obtained from the link below, along with further details, including a special deal on grub.
