David Rovics at Joes Bar

David RovicsJoes Bar in Wigan town centre plays host to American singer songwriter and musician, David Rovics on 16th April. Rovics, originally from Wilton Connecticut, learned his trade as a full time busker in the Boston subways, in the early 90's and these days tours on four continents playing topical music that covers such subjects as the 2003 Iraq war, anti-globalization and social justice issues

He will be supported on the night by talented local performers - musician Tim Critchley, poet and singer songwriter Susie Mason and performance poet Tom Stevens, with compere Laura Taylor.
