O'Hooley and Tidow at Lancashire Archives

O'Hooley and TidowPopular duo and 2013 BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards nominees O'Hooley & Tidow will be performing at Lancashire Archives on 1st February 2014.

Since the 2012 release of their second album The Fragile, Yorkshire duo Belinda O'Hooley and Heidi Tidow have become a must-see act, described by the Guardian ans 'stunning and delightfully unconventional.'

They earned a nomination for Best Duo in the 2013 BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards, with The Guardian, again, hailing them as The Best Act of Cambridge Folk Festival.

As well as high praise for their beautiful, interweaving harmonies they are acknowledged as one of the strongest song writing partnerships on the contemporary folk scene.

New album The Hum, produced by Mercury-nominated Gerry Diver, reveals the pulsing undercurrent of optimism, grit and mettle in migrating people, the oppressed, and the disenfranchised.

O'Hooley & Tidow appear at the Lancashire Archives on 1st February 2014 at 5.45pm.  Tickets, priced at 5 can be obtained from the link below, or by calling 01772 533039.
