Pete Morton at Sale Folk Club

Pete MortonThe top notch series of gigs at Sale Folk Club continues this Saturday with the visit of songwriter, singer and 'folk rapper'  Pete Morton.

Morton, who started out busking on the streets of Europe has a wealth of recorded material under his belt.  As well as eight solo albums of original material, he has a collection of traditional songs, two releases as Urban Folk with  Roger Wilson and Simon Edwards,  an album of traditional and contemporary songs with Jo Freya, and a compilation of his most requested songs  titled Napoleon Jukebox.

He constantly tours, either solo, performing his own material or his one man theatre show, 'The Millers Tale with the songs of Bob Dylan' and his performances are described as dynamic and intense, while remaining approachable and fun loving.

Pete Morton appears at Sale Folk Club on Saturday 18th January with support from Arthur Marshall, Mike Cosgrave, Richard Knott and Free Spirits.  Tickets priced at 9 are available from the venue link below.
