Cocos Lovers in Town with New Single

Cocos LoversEmily is the first single to be taken from Cocos Lovers’ critically acclaimed 3rd album Gold or Dust. It’s a song about love and loss, that transcends  musical boundaries with its swelling choir-like harmonies, syncopated rhythms and shimmering guitars, recorded and produced by Joel McGill of Syd Arthur. The video was shot on the Kent coast at Samphire Hoe, inspired by the disused remnants of the second world war on the white cliffs. The band’s critically acclaimed 3rd album, Gold or Dust was Described by Froots as ' audacious tunes, the world is their oyster'.

Vocalist and guitarist, Will Greenham says of the song;

“Emily is about a profound sadness for the people we love and leave behind when we are gone, I'm telling a certain special person to carry on without me to live and love again, a song of hope. We all have someone that the song can be about.”

Cocos Lovers appear at the Castle Hotel, Oldham Street, Manchester on 26th September.
