James J Turner at Radical Liverpool

J J TurnerJames J Turner is the next guest of Radical Liverpool.  Fresh from the success of his latest album  How Could We Be Wrong, the Liverpool based singer-songwriter will be appearing on Saturday 11th May at the Casa.

Also on the bill are houseband Our Morals, who've secured a booking for the Chester Folk Festival, and Jim Pearson, a regular at the Wallasey Folk and Acoustic Club.

As a topical bonus, local actor and playwright John Davies will be performing his ode to Margaret Thatcher which got an outing at the Woody Guthrie Folk Club in April.  One suspects it won't be complimentary.

Radical Liverpool is on Saturday 11th May at the Casa Bar on Hope Street. Doors open 7.30pm for an 8.00pm start.  Entry is free with a raffle and the hat passed around for what you can afford for the performers.
