Brave New Storm are 5 guys and a girl from Sheffield who make indie-folk music. They were formed to ‘save the world from terrible chart music.’
Whilst keeping an ear on radio friendliness, the band focus on classic folk themes with a contemporary twist, from nostalgic songs about well spent summers, to political songs that depict the student protests of 2010.
They were winners of 2012 UK National Tuborg 'King Of The Stage' competition and have drawn plaudits from sections of the media.

“In essence we are students that love ale, books, warm jumpers, gay rights and football, “ says band member Siobhan. “We write music that is a blend of contemporary post-rock and folk, to create our own sound. We sing about girls, lefty politics and mountains.”
