Ruth Fuga and Ken Powell: Sale Folk Club

Ruth Fuga Ken PowellRuth Fuga and Ken Powell are this week’s guests at Sale Folk Club

The pair were active in different bands some years ago, but then they joined forces as part of the much acclaimed trio Risky Business, where they brought predominantly contemporary music to both the festival and club circuits.

"Both instrumentally and vocally, Risky Business are effortlessly harmonious at all times, as the new album demonstrates. The opening and title track 'Harbour In The Storm' is a typical example. with Ruth's assuredly pure notes leading a musically strong Walmisley song into a big singalong chorus, as the acoustic guitars weave a nimble fingerstyle backing." - City Life

Now after a break, Ruth Fuga and Ken Powell have returned as a double act. They appear at Sale Folk Club on 16th March 2013 at 8 pm.  For further details and tickets follow the club link below.
