International Women's Day at Radical Liverpool

Our MoralsRadical Liverpool, now operating out of the Casa Bar, will celebrate International Women’s Day on 9th March with an evening of song and verse.

There will be music from Bernie Murphy and house band Our Morals, as well as poetry from Laura Taylor and Alison Down.  The evening is presented in association with News from Nowhere, Liverpool Women’s Network, and Women Against The Cuts.

There will be a raffle and a cake sale with proceeds going to News from Nowhere.  The artists and other contributors have offered their services without charge, although the hat will be passed round to give a chance to show appreciation.  The venue is at pains to point out that there is no pressure to do so.

“If you are skint just come along and enjoy a great night out,” they say.

Radical Liverpool is at the The Casa Bar, 29 Hope Street, Liverpool L1 9BQ. Doors open at 7.30 pm and the event runs from 8 pm to 10.30 pm.
