Rory McLeod - Goblins in the Ginnel

Goblins in the Ginnel continues its excellent winter programme at the weekend, playing host to Rory Mcleod, a former recipient of the Best Live Act at the Radio 2 Folk Awards.

The much travelled McLeod isn't your average folkie. 'ex circus clown and fire eater. A one man soul band, poet and storyteller, singing his own unique upbeat dance stories. A modern travelling troubadour using tap shoes, acappella, harmonica, guitar, spoons and trombone to great effect. Rory has travelled the globe for different reasons at different times, from Asia to the middle East from Gambia to Cuba, Central America, Australia, North America, Canada, Europe and other nooks and crannies of the earth' to quote the official blurb.

It seems like quite a night is in store. Rory McLeod appears at Goblins in the Ginnel on Saturday 24th November with support from Garron Frith.  Tickets are 10 in advance or 12 on the door and can be obtained by calling 0161 338 7073 (after 6pm) or from www.wegottickets,com.  Doors open at 7.30 pm.

Profits go to Glossop Mountain Rescue Team and The Chernobyl Children's Trust (Glossop branch).
