Clive Gregson at Sale Folk Club

Singer-songwriter Clive Gregson is the next guest at Sale Folk Club.  A veteran with twelve solo albums to his credit, Gregson has also mixed with illustrious company.  From 1985 to 1992 he formed a partnership with Christine Collister that Rolling Stone referred to as  "the state of the art in British folk-rock". They released five albums and toured the UK, USA, Canada, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Japan.

He also toured and recorded with Richard Thompson, Nanci Griffith, Eddi Reader and Boo Hewerdine and Plainsong. 

Now resident in the United States, the former Mancunian has had songs recorded by Nanci Griffith, Kim Carnes, Fairport Convention, Claire Martin and Norma Waterson

Clive Gregson appears at Sale Folk Club on 10th November at 8 pm.  Tickets and further details are available from the link below.  The club also continues with its popular Tuesday acoustic folk sessions
