Ildanach Up Next at Sale Folk Club

North West Folk music clubs picIldanach are the next guests of Sale Folk Club on 20th October.  The Merseyside based outfit whose background is steeped in Irish traditional music has been gathering enthusiastic reviews after appearing at a number of folk club in the region.

The band’s accordionist, Kevin Webster is an All Ireland champion who many feel has progressed to be one of the outstanding players of his generation, while Fiona McConnell has drawn praise for the quality of her vocals.

John Murphy (Uilleann Pipes, Guitar, Mandolin, Vocals), Liam Murphy (Uilleann Pipes, Cittern, Whistle) and Chris Boland (Guitar) complete the line up.

Sale Folk Club is at The United Services Club, Southern Road, Sale, Manchester M33 6HQ.  As well as Saturday concerts which take place once a month, the club has a lively regular session every Tuesday night.
