It's the Orkneys Busk

Like many others, Jeffrey Bruce Butterfield will be attending the Orkney Blues Festival which runs from the 21st to the 23rd of September.   However, he’ll be getting there via an unorthodox method.

JB ButterfieldJeffery, better known by his stage name of JB Butterfield is planning to busk from his home in Hartlepool, starting on 18th September in order to raise money for the care of those with Alzheimer’s Disease, which his mother Muriel suffered from, before her death last year.

JB will be issuing sponsor forms closer to the event, but for now there are more practical considerations.  He is looking for help with basic living expenses for food, travel and accommodation and also hoping that someone may know of a place to stay North of Edinburgh.

Anyone who can help, or who would like to get involved with the project should e-mail him at
