Chris and Siobhan at New Longton

Chris Siobhan NelsonChris and Siobhan Nelson will be appearing at New Longton Village Hall on Friday 25th May at 8pm.

The popular duo have have just returned from performing a well received set at Maddy Prior's Stepping Stones Folk Festival, the weekend before last.

In recent years they have supported Peter Knight’s Gigspanner, Steve Tilston, Abbie Lathe & the Lovelies, and appeared on a double bill with Ken Nicol.

The gig is promoted by Friends of Folk, for who New Longton Village Hall is a fresh venue.

Also making a rare appearance is Kevin Littlewood more widely known as the composer of the song ‘On Morecambe Bay’, recorded by Christy Moore and nominated for a BBC Folk Award (Best Original Song) in February 2012.
